NY Waterway Needs New Waterfront Home
The Hoboken City Council voted on Thursday evening to acquire property currently owned by a ferry operator to complete a walking path along the waterfront. But the chairman of NY Waterway vowed that the company will fight to retain its property to construct a ferry maintenance facility, maintaining that any other location will require passing on additional costs to ferry commuters.
