Political gadly reprimands Jersey City Council president for calling him a convicted fraudster

At the last Jersey City Council meeting of 2018, council president Rolando Lavarro called Jersey City resident Bruce Alston a convicted real estate fraudster after Alston criticized Lavarro for opposing a plan to designated an economically-struggling neighborhood as a Special Improvement District. The bickering then became personal, as Alston appeared at a recent Council meeting to reprimand the council president.

The report originally aired on Hudson County View.
