NY and NJ may need to allocate billions for Gateway Tunnel

While on assignment for Hudson County View, a U.S. Department of Transportation official said last week in Bayonne, New Jersey that both New Jersey and New York will have to pony up more money to fund a new passenger rail tunnel under the Hudson River because it is “essentially a local transit asset.”

NY Waterway founder says Hoboken waterfront is critical to operations

While on assignment for Hudson County View, legendary Hudson County entrepreneur Arthur Imperatore Sr., who started out in the trucking business with his brothers in the 1940s to become the sole owner of the former A-P-A Trucking Company in North Bergen, New Jersey, says that NY Waterway plans to set up a maintenance facility in Hoboken despite protests from the town and residents.
